Host organisation
The Secretariat to the North Western Waters Advisory Council is currently hosted by Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), Ireland's Seafood Development Agency.
BIM is the Irish state agency with responsibility for developing the Irish Sea Fishing and Aquaculture industries. BIM was established under the Sea Fisheries Act 1952 and provides a range of services including advisory, financial, technical, marketing and training supports to all sectors of the Irish seafood industry. BIM has offices throughout Ireland.
